Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing, also known as dye sublimation printing, is a printing process that uses heat to transfer dye onto a substrate, such as fabrics, or glass, metals ceramics and wood. It is commonly used to produce high-quality prints for a wide range of applications, including banners, flags, trade show graphics, promotional items, and clothing.

In the sublimation printing process, a special ink called sublimation ink is used. This ink is made up of solid dye particles that are suspended in a liquid or toner form. When the ink is heated to a high temperature, the dye particles transform from a solid state into a gas. The gaseous colorants penetrate the surface of the substrate, creating a permanent, high-quality image.

One of the benefits of sublimation printing is that the dye is absorbed directly into the substrate, resulting in prints that are durable, long-lasting, and can be resistant to fading, smudging, and peeling. It is also a relatively fast and cost-effective printing method, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications.
